What we collect
We only collect what you choose to type in. If you use the free audit booking form in the chat, we collect your name, email address, and, if you add them, your business or channel name and the gap you'd like us to look at. We also save the page you were on and your recent chat messages with that request. Messages you send to the AI assistant are processed to generate a reply. To prevent abuse, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of a random visitor ID and your network address to count messages. If you call or WhatsApp us, we keep the details you share so we can respond. Your chat history is kept in your own browser for the current session only. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking on this site.

To reply to your enquiry, prepare for and book your free audit, and keep the assistant working fairly for everyone.
The chat is an AI assistant
The chat on this website is an AI assistant, not a person. Questions it can't answer are passed to the Wave&Co team.
Who processes it
We use trusted service providers: Lovable Cloud for website hosting and our database, an AI provider to generate assistant replies, Resend to send us an email notification of new enquiries, and Calendly for booking your audit (your name and email are pre-filled in the Calendly link when you continue to booking). These providers may process data outside South Africa. We do not sell your personal information.
If we contact you about our services
When we reach out to a business about our services, we use business contact details from public sources or your own website. Every message says who we are and how to opt out, and we stop contacting you as soon as you ask. To opt out or ask what we hold about you, email admin@waveandco.co.za.
How long we keep it
We keep your details only as long as we need them to respond to your enquiry, or until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing admin@waveandco.co.za. You also have the right to complain to South Africa's Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
